Dear Educators,
9 students from 4 area high schools competed in the Baltimore Brain Bee, see participant list below. We want to thank Dr. Amy Shelton and the JHU School of Education for providing a beautiful venue for the event.
We are delighted to announce our 1st place winner, Mr. Torey Dickson, of Baltimore Polytechnic High School. Congratulations, Torey! Poly will receive the Bee trophy to put on display.
Torey will compete at the USA National Bee March 17-19th, and he and his teacher have a scholarship to attend the Brain Injury Association of Maryland conference inTimonium, MD March 23-24th, 2017.
We also wish to congratulate our second place and third place participants, Mr. Justin Bai, from Gilman placed 2nd, and Ms. Maddie Parsley, from Baltimore City College High School placed 3rd.
